Children

Our families, including children, worship together in the theater and are dismissed following worship to our carefully screened children’s ministry team. They remain in their upstairs classrooms until service is over. There are classes for Toddlers (walking - preschool) and Grades K-5. Middle School and High School students will want to get to Kaitlin Smith our Youth Pastor. We ask that you sign your children in each Sunday at the sign-up table between 9:30 and 10:00 am and take a card bearing your child’s name. Please be prepared to hand this in to your child’s teacher when you pick them up. These cards help us to maintain a safe environment for your children.

Our nursery is for infants and nursing mothers. It is also located upstairs in our children’s ministry area. It is fully staffed and provides an area to take your infant if he/she becomes restless. Our devoted nursery staff does much more than babysit, they provide a wonderful entry into the world of Christian education for your children.

If you would like more information you may email Pam Bream, who oversees our children’s ministry, pambream@newlifecommunity.us.

This year, Fall 2011 - Spring 2012, we are continuing our discovery of the Bible’s essential story through “Unwrapping the Story”. This year’s lessons come from the years of the Kings recorded in the pages of the Old Testament. Your children will continue to discover the consistent love of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit as they journey through these stories together. You may follow along. Each lesson is available in an adult format on the table at Welcome Central.
