At New Life Community we believe that we are called to be a “City on a hill.” Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14 NIV)

As a “City on a hill”:

We envision sharing the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection with thousands of un-churched friends, neighbors, and co-workers in the greater Carlisle area, many of whom will give Him leadership of their lives.

We envision reaching people from all walks of life who will find help, healing and hope.

We envision being a people centered on prayer, who come together regularly to seek God’s guidance, stand in the gap for others, and pour out our hearts to Him in worship.

We envision being a church of small groups, where everyone is connected in a healthy small group that modes biblical community.

We envision developing people to spiritual maturity through seeker friendly worship services, small group, life developing classes, and mentoring relationships.

We envision equipping every believer for significant ministry by helping each member discover his/ her God-given SHAPE, and then training him/her to use their SHAPE in ministry

We envision training and sending people out in missions.

We envision being a church that plants other churches.
