Carlisle Green Festival is the first of its kind in Carlisle. The fest will open avenues for greater awareness of the environmental resources available in Carlisle and the surrounding communities. This festival will encourage people from diverse backgrounds to connect around this very important topic.  Come

We are advertising on radio (75,000 listeners) newspaper, Central Penn Parent Magazine, Facebook, Myspace, and others.  We hope to have around 400 people in attendance. Project S.H.A.R.E. needs several volunteers to help transport compost from the farm stand to the Dickinson College Farm on Park Drive in Boiling Springs once or twice a week. This run is for the duration of the growing season and project SHARE will provide the truck. If interested please contact project SHARE @ 249-7773 and ask for Pam. SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Project SHARE is now collecting school backpacks and supplies. Please feel free to drop off your donations at the NLC office. It is being requested that donations be dropped off by August 7th by 12pm. Office hours are 9am to 12pm. These items will then be given to project SHARE and dispersed on August 9th from 11am to 2pm.
