It’s time once again for the Kingdom Builder’s annual Penny Power Missions Project!  Beginning this Sunday, February 4, 2007 through Sunday February 25, 2007, the K-6th grade classes will be collecting money for the 2007 Penny Power Project Fill the Food Basket.    The world produces enough food fore everyone, yet 1 in 7 people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life.  Help fill the MCC Food Basket and be part of feeding the hungry of our world!

Keeping Our Eyes Fixed

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ- that’s where the action is. Those from NLC interested in participating on a SWAP Mission this summer are invited to join the team going from the Grantham BIC Church.  Their team will be going the last week of June or one of the first two weeks of July.  In their application to SWAP Admin, they did not specify location, but said they would be willing to serve wherever SWAP needed them.  They should be hearing from SWAP soon confirming exact dates and location.  Adults and youth from NLC are welcome to join the Grantham team.  If you are interested, contact Marian Musser (486-7105).

Teens in Missionary Service-2007 Missions Trips - The flyer is at Welcome Central.  If you are interested in possibly of going on one of the trips, check it out.  You can say “here I am, send me!”  Whatever your calling and capabilities, there’s a world that needs you… because the world needs Jesus.
